Denver Ballet Theatre

Denver Ballet Theatre Academy is a performance-focused classical ballet school at 8000 S Lincoln Street, Suite 8 in Littleton, Colorado, serving the Denver metro area including Highlands Ranch and Centennial. Training follows the Vaganova syllabus and is delivered by an international faculty of former professional dancers, taking students from young beginners through to pre-professional and professional level while building technique, musicality, coordination and strength. Alongside technical work, students are taught the historical and cultural context of ballet, and the school places emphasis on respect, self-discipline, responsibility and peer support. Its associated performing company, a 501(c)(3) non-profit, stages full-length productions including The Nutcracker, Don Quixote, Paquita, Coppelia and Sleeping Beauty, in which students take most roles alongside international guest artists. Summer provision includes dance camps, summer classes, a three-week youth intensive for ages 7 to 12 and a four-week intermediate and advanced intensive for ages 9 and up.
