Dancer Strong LLC

Dancer Strong is a dance studio in McKinney, Texas, whose tagline is 'where strength, grace, and passion unite'. It teaches Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Contemporary, Lyrical, Acro/Tumbling and Bollywood to students from toddlers through adults, and states it has more than 20 years of experience, over 25 classes and more than 2,000 students trained. Ballet instruction is primarily Cecchetti-based and tap follows the Al Gilbert syllabus, with technique, terminology and history taught alongside choreography. The youngest dancers work through the Dancely syllabus in Creative Movement and Pre-Dance Combo classes designed to build foundational skills through play. The studio emphasises traditional values, hard work and personal achievement, and frames dance training as a way of building confidence, discipline and perseverance. A free trial class can be requested, and the studio also runs camps and a company program.
