About this studio
Corazon Latino Dance Studio is a Latina-owned studio serving Austin and Del Valle, Texas. It opened in Austin in 2009, founded by Fanny Gonzalez with two other partners who wanted to bring Latino music to the city as a route to health and fitness; Fanny is now sole owner. A former ballet dancer from Venezuela who ran three studios in Puerto Ordaz before moving to Austin in 1996, she is certified through AFAA and ESA and holds Zumba certifications, and her choreography blends ballet, cardio and Zumba. The studio runs group classes, private lessons, choreographed dances and weekend socials each week, plus special classes and events, and offers free classes to Team Survivor members. It has recently joined with Baby Boom Training Center for combined classes.
