Colorado School of Dance, L.L.C.

Colorado School of Dance (CSD) is a curriculum-based studio at 10510 S Progress Way in Parker, Colorado, celebrating its 25th anniversary season. It teaches dancers from age 2 through adult in ballet, jazz, lyrical, tap, hip hop, acro, poms and contemporary, with dedicated pre-teen and teen classes and musical theatre and baton also listed. Training follows a levelled progression from 1 to 7; pointe begins at level 3 and requires dancers to be at least 12 with four to five years of classical ballet behind them. The studio runs recreational programs, community teams and competitive teams, plus a pre-professional program starting at age 12 for students aiming at professional careers and networking in Los Angeles and New York. Annual performances include the Nutcracker of Parker and a yearly recital, and summer intensives are offered. Its stated mission is to help students of all ages gain self-esteem, poise and physical and social well-being.
