About this studio
Carol Elaine Dance Studio (CEDS) is a small neighborhood studio at 862 State Highway 36 in Leonardo, New Jersey, housed in the Samantha Shops. It teaches acrobatics, ballet, Hawaiian, hip hop, jazz and tap, along with combination classes, and takes students from pre-K through to adult in both group and private lessons. The studio was founded by Miss Carol and is now run by her daughter, Miss Sheryl, and it presents itself as a long-running dance community whose families have often stayed connected across several generations. Alongside the weekly class schedule the studio runs a calendar of additional student activities and events. The studio does not take walk-ins and asks prospective families to phone or email for an appointment.
