Ballet Frontier of Texas is a professional ballet company based in Fort Worth that brings classical and contemporary ballet to audiences across North Texas. Its season features full-length and mixed-repertoire productions including Romeo & Juliet, The Nutcracker, Swan Lake and Timeless Tales, performed in Fort Worth and Dallas, and it tours The Nutcracker to Granbury, Greenville, Kerrville and Waco, appearing with the Waco Symphony Orchestra. Alongside the professional company the organization runs a Youth Company for young dancers, entered by audition, with separate Nutcracker auditions held in Fort Worth and Waco. Its community outreach includes Dance Without Borders with Lena Pope, Nutcracker school shows, a My First Ballet introduction for young audiences, and collaborations with the Fort Worth Symphony. The company is supported by Arts Fort Worth and the Texas Commission on the Arts, and runs a Pointe Shoe Fund for its dancers.
