Studio of Movemint

Studio of MoveMINT is a Fort Worth dance studio at 5512 Bellaire Dr. S, entering its tenth season, with classes for ages 18 months and up. The youngest take Creative Rhythm and MoveMINT, developing motor skills, coordination and rhythm, followed by Ballet/Jazz combo classes at ages three and four and Tumble Tots. From Level I upward the school teaches graded ballet - a curriculum influenced by the American Ballet Theatre National Training Curriculum - plus jazz, modern, contemporary, improvisation, composition, acro dance and strength and conditioning, with pointe by invitation from Level IV. A Foundations track serves dancers aged 10 and over who are new to dance or want to dance recreationally one class a week, while MoveMINT Dance Company offers a further performance outlet. An adaptive dance program, developed with occupational therapists, welcomes dancers of all abilities. The season runs like a school year and concludes with a spring dance concert; the studio also stages a Nutcracker.
