About this studio
Almayeva Ballet Academy, formally the Marina Almayeva School of Classical Ballet, is a ballet-only school at 124 Grapevine Hwy, Hurst, Texas, also serving Keller, Colleyville, Grapevine, North Richland Hills, Southlake and Fort Worth. Founder and artistic director Marina Almayeva trained under the Vaganova curriculum in Baku and Perm and danced as a soloist with the Moskva ballet company before joining Ballet Arlington in 1999; she opened the school around twelve years ago and holds two Youth America Grand Prix Outstanding Teacher awards. Teaching follows the Russian Vaganova method with added athletic conditioning.
