The Monsters is a regional premiere written by Ngozi Anyanwu and directed by Delicia Turner Sonnenberg. The play follows Lil, a scrappy young fighter who reconnects with her brother Big, an accomplished MMA fighter, after 16 years apart. To earn her brother's respect, Lil must master her stance, her strikes, and her stubborn streak while the two siblings work to mend their thorny past. Fresh from a critically acclaimed Off-Broadway run, the play blends heart, humor, and the fierce love only a sibling can give.
