The Making of a Saint is a world premiere solo investigative performance written, directed, and starring KJ Sanchez. KJ Sanchez sets out to understand the extraordinary story of Sister Blandina Segale, a Catholic saint candidate who lived during the era of the Wild West, prompted by her brother's role as the official Petitioner of the Cause for Segale's canonization. Based on interviews and research conducted in Rome, the performance explores what it means to help others and how a brother and sister might bridge the distance between faith and doubt.
