Undermain Theatre Names James Tait Black Award Winner
The Undermain Theatre is proud to announce that playwright Gordon Dahlquist's play, Tomorrow Come Today, has won the prestigious international James Tait Black prize for drama. This is Britain's oldest literary award. The world premiere of Tomorrow Come Today, directed by Katherine Owens, was developed and presented at the Undermain in the fall of 2014. Previous winners of this award include Zadie Smith, Cormac McCarthy, Graham Greene, Aldous Huxley, Robert Graves, and D.H. Lawrence.
Best selling sci-fi novelist Dahlquist's play, Tomorrow Come Today is set in the near future where the wealthy are able to cheat death by switching to younger, healthier bodies.
Undermain is located at 3200 Main Street at the corner of Murray Street in Deep Ellum. Discounts are available for seniors, students, KERA members, and groups. Call 214.747.5515 or visit www.undermain.org
