Brief Synopsis:

Based on the beloved TV series by Sherwood Schwartz and created by his talented family, this hilarious musical returns to the Rover stage to charm audiences of all ages. A small touring boat has been shipwrecked on a desert island, and the seven castaways must work together to try to get back to civilization while overcoming hurricanes, extra-terrestrials, and their biggest obstacle, Gilligan himself, who manages to bungle every chance of rescue. All the fun and silliness of the original series, plus singing and dancing!

Roles:

Gilligan: Male, 20s-40s, tenor. Clumsy, simple, goofy, and endearingly likable.

Skipper: Male, 40s+, bari tenor. Competent yet somewhat bumbling. Loyal to a fault.

Professor: Male, 30s-50s, bari tenor. Smart beyond belief and knows it, yet not conceited. A nice guy.

Mr. Howell: Male, 40s+, baritone. Rich, selfish, very dependent on his wife and teddy bear.

Lovey Howell: Female, 30s+, mezzo. Rich and snooty, yet with a heart of gold.

Mary Ann: Female, 20s-30s, mezzo. Sweet, uncomplicated, attractive.

Ginger: Female, 20s-40s, soprano w/belt. Glamorous, sexy, overly dramatic.

Alien: Male or Female, contralto or bass baritone. Typical being from outer space.

All roles are available. The director is looking for versatile actors who can sing and move, and who can capture the flavor of the famous TV series icons.
