The Contemporary Theatre of Dallas presents "Steel Magnolias" by Robert Harling and directed by Cynthia Hestand. The show will play April 16 to May 9, 2010.
CTD presents the five-year old revival of its extremely successful and critically acclaimed production with many of CTD's original cast, including Producing Artistic Director Sue Loncar, Sandra Looney, and Ouida White. The show is a hilarious and touching story of a group of gossipy Southern ladies in a small-town beauty parlor in Chinquapin, Louisiana. Helped by her eager new assistant, the wise-cracking Truvy dispenses shampoo and free advice to the town's rich curmudgeon, an eccentric millionaire, the local social leader, and the prettiest girl in town.

Tickets: Main floor seating: $32 for adults, $27 for seniors (60 and up). Balcony seating: $27 for adults, $22 for seniors (60 and up). $10 student rush tickets go on sale to students with ID 15 minutes before curtain. Discounts for groups of 10 or more, KERA and STAGE members.
