Inevitable Theatre Company presents the Dallas-Fort Worth premiere of the dark comedy Dog Sees God: Confessions of a Teenage Blockhead by Bert V. Royal, to be performed December 6-22, 2007 at the Bath House Cultural Center on White Rock Lake in Dallas, TX.

"Dog Sees God: Confessions of a Teenage Blockhead follows the further adventures of America's favorite blockhead as he and his friends morph into dysfunctional teenagers, lost in a modern world that has stripped away their innocence," explain press notes, "No longer concerned with baseball games and flying kites, CB questions the meaning of life after his beloved beagle dies from rabies. Teen angst and wicked humor merge with surprising tenderness as we are reintroduced to familiar faces with more than a few unexpected twists: CB's goth sister, his burnt-out best friend, a school bully with a secret past, and a potential new love." Dog Sees God: Confessions of a Teenage Blockhead contains adult language and situations and is intended for mature audiences.

ITC is proud to present the local production in partnership with the Dallas chapter of GLSEN (Gay, Lesbian & Straight Education Network) as a means of raising awareness about issues surrounding bullying, homophobia, and abuse directed at LGBT youth in schools today.
