Casa Mañana Theatre continues its 2016-17 Broadway season with the Tony® Award-winning Broadway Musical West Side Story, March 4-12. Tickets are on sale now.

The world's greatest love story takes to the streets in this landmark Tony® Award-winning Broadway musical. Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet is transported to modern-day New York City, as two young, idealistic lovers find themselves caught between warring street gangs: the "American" Jets and the Puerto Rican Sharks. Their struggle to survive in a world of hate, violence and prejudice is one of the most innovative, heart-wrenching and relevant musical dramas of our time. From the first notes to the final breath, West Side Story's powerful and poignant story will captivate audiences. This show is suitable for most audiences.

West Side Story features an all-star cast including Addie Morales and "Maria" and John Riddle as "Tony." Ms. Morales is a graduate of Casa Mañana's critically-acclaimed Apprentice Program and a sophomore at Baldwin Wallace University. Mr. Riddle was last seen on Broadway in The Visit starring Chita Rivera. Newcomers Cassidy Stoner, Sean Ewing and Adam Soniak star as "Anita," "Bernardo," and Riff," respectively, and audiences will also see the familiar faces of David Coffee as "Doc and Gladhand," Bob Reed as "Officer Krupke" and Greg Dulcie as "Lt. Schrank." Other cast members include: Alexandra Cassens, Cristina María Castro, Courtney Chilton, Amber Marie Flores, Domanick Hubbard, Bryan Ingram, Adam Jepsen, Kwame David Lilly, Jill B. Nicholas, PJ Palmer, Morgan Parmley, Bailey Poe, Taylor Ratliff, Drew Redington, Jacob Rivera-Sanchez, Olivia Sharber, MichaEl Anthony Sylvester, Sam Wolf and Trevor J. Wright.

West Side Story is directed by Eric Woodall and choreographed by Jeremy Dumont. Mr. Woodall most recently directed Big River and On Golden Pond at Casa Mañana. In addition to directing, Mr. Woodall is a casting director for Tara Rubin Casting, and has cast several Broadway shows including Miss Saigon, Aladdin, LES MISERABLES and Mamma Mia. Mr. Dumont choreographs and teachers throughout the Metroplex. His most recent work at Casa Mañana includes Seussical JR and Spamalot.

Additional creative team members include Edward Robinson as music director, Bob Lavallee as scenic designer, Samuel Rushen as lighting designer, Kyle McCord as Sound Designer, Tammy Spencer as costume designer and Catherine Petty-Rogers as hair, wig and makeup designer.
