Amphibian Stage Productions, a professional theater company in Fort Worth, Texas, has announced the elections of Jeff Davis as Chairman of the Board of Directors and Linda Pavlik as a new addition to the Board.

Mr. Davis, Chairman of the Board for the Fort Worth division of Republic Title, has served on the Amphibian Board for 4 years. He succeeds Gregory Scott Ibañez, principal of Ibañez Architecture, who will continue to serve as a Board member.

During a recent meeting, Board members and Artistic Director Kathleen Culebro recognized Mr. Davis for his dedication to live theater in Fort Worth. "Mr. Davis is one of Fort Worth's most generous theater supporters, and I'm grateful that Amphibian is a beneficiary of his passion, time and expertise," says Culebro. "A couple years ago he called me with a sense of urgency-he discovered a diamond in the rough at 120 South Main. The space became our company's first theater. Mr. Davis helped usher in a new era for Amphibian and I trust his business savvy and keen instincts to guide us as we celebrate our 15th season and gain a national presence as a regional theater."

In addition to this appointment, the Amphibian Board elected a new member, Linda Pavlik, founder and president of the award-winning marketing and communications firm Pavlik and Associates.

Jeff Davis is an "Air Force brat" having been born in Greenland, and is a Princeton University graduate where he majored in religion and played three sports. He received his J.D. degree from Southern Methodist University and practiced commercial law for several years before opening his own law practice and title company in Fort Worth. At the age of 27, he was elected to the first single-member City Council district in Fort Worth and served two terms representing East Fort Worth. He authored the city's current economic development policy and co-authored the city's Ethics Code. Mr. Davis was President of Safeco Title in Fort Worth for 16 years before he joined Republic Title, the largest commercial title company in the United States, as Chairman of the Board for the Fort Worth division in 2004. He is currently serving as Chairman of the Greater Fort Worth Real Estate Council, the Vice Chair of the Transit Coalition of North Texas, and a Board member of the Fort Worth "T" and Downtown Fort Worth Inc. His two girls, the Texas Rangers, live theater, and the study of fermented grape juice are his greatest passions.

Linda Pavlik established Pavlik and Associates in 1983, specializing in media relations, public policy development, and creating synergisms among entities in the public and private sectors. Prior to a career in public relations and advertising, Pavlik worked in the newspaper industry. She established the first Fort Worth/Tarrant County news bureau for the Dallas Times Herald, spent five years at the Fort Worth Star-Telegram where she was a political writer and investigative reporter, owned and operated a community newspaper for three years, and won numerous state and national awards for investigative reporting and public service in journalism. Active in many civic and professional activities, Pavlik has been named a Distinguished Alumna of the University of Oklahoma's College of Journalism and Mass Communications and an Outstanding Woman in the Workplace by Fort Worth's Commission on the Status of Women, among other honors. She has also led numerous community service organizations including the North Texas Area March of Dimes and Big Brother/Big Sisters of Tarrant County.
