LA Swing Dance Posse (LASDP) is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving, promoting, performing, and teaching vernacular jazz dance, including Savoy Swing, Charleston, and Lindy Hop, from the 1800s to the present. History of Swing Dancing highlights jazz dance from the 1920s through the 1950s, presented as part of the 2026 Brand Associates Dance Series at Brand Library & Art Center. The series, curated by choreographer and producer Jamie Nichols, features top Southern California dance companies performing site-specific work in non-traditional spaces throughout the venue.
