With a script written by Mo Willems, the creator of the #1 New York Times best-selling, Caldecott Honor award-winning "Pigeon" picture books, and featuring an innovative mix of songs and feathers, Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus! March 12, 2020 In accordance with Governor Gavin Newsom's directive and the guidelines issued by the California Department of Public Health to postpone or cancel all gatherings that include 250 people or more, Segerstrom Center for the Arts is canceling performances through the remainder of March.

February 03, 2020 Segerstrom Center for the Arts and The Kennedy Center Theater for Young Audiences on Tour present Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus: The Musical March 21 and 22 in Samueli Theater. With a script written by Mo Willems, the creator of the #1 New York Times best-selling, Caldecott Honor award-winning 'Pigeon' picture books, along with longtime collaborator and Disney Jr.'s Muppet Babies executive producer Tom Warburton, and music by Deborah Wicks La Puma, the composer behind Elephant & Piggie's We Are in a Play!, this innovative mix of actors, puppets, songs, and feathers comes fresh from its world premiere in Washington, DC.

January 29, 2020 Segerstrom Center for the Arts' 2019-2020 Family Series continues with Beep on March 14 and 15 in Samueli Theater. From Australia's renowned Windmill Theatre Company comes a slightly sideways tale about unexpected friendship, finding where you fit and learning to mix it up a little featuring Beep: 'the most endearing robot of them all' (The Adelaide Review). With Windmill's trademark design, gentle storytelling, music and puppetry, Beep tells the story of what happens when someone new comes to town.About the Theatre
