Theatre @ Boston Court Announces High School Student Rush Ticket Program

By:
The Theatre @ Boston Court announces a new High School Student Rush Ticket Program.  The program is simple: any unsold seat will be made available free of charge five minutes prior to the performance to any high school student who presents a current student ID.

“It’s been clear to us a major barrier keeping students from attending live theatre is the cost. We have strived for the past several years to provide discounted opportunities, but we recognize even a five-dollar ticket can be difficult for high school students,” says Brian Polak, Boston Court Marketing & Communications Manager. “Our hope is students will not only have an opportunity to see theatre at no cost, but also be exposed to a style of theatre they may not normally have the opportunity to see.”

The program will begin with the world premiere production of The Children, by Michael Elyanow and directed by Jessica Kubzansky.  The production is scheduled to run from Saturday, May 12 through Sunday, June 10.

Students are required to provide a current school-issued ID. There is a one ticket limit per student, pending availability.

For more information contact the Boston Court box office: 626-683-6883.

The Theatre @ Boston Court is supported in part by the City of Pasadena, Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors through the Los Angeles County Arts Commission, The Harold and Mimi Steinberg Charitable Trust, Founding Director Z. Clark Branson, and the generous contributions of Boston Court supporters and contributors.

The Theatre @ Boston Court is the award-wining resident theatre company at Boston Court Performing Arts Center in Pasadena, CA. Michael Seel, Executive Director, Jessica Kubzansky and Michael Michetti, Co-Artistic Directors, Hillary Metcalf, Managing Director.
