Seth Rudetsky's DISASTER! Extends Through 3/25; Golden and Finley Join 3/04

Seth Rudetsky's DISASTER, A 1970's disaster movie musical; written by Seth Rudetsky and Jack Plotnick, directed/choreographed by Denis Jones with music direction by Steve Marzullo, will continue playing at The Triad (158 West 72nd Street). The show began on January 22 and has been extended and will NOW run through March 25, 2012 on Sundays at 9pm.

Tickets are $40 (2 drink minimum) and can be purchased by visiting www.disastermusical.com. Broadway's Annie Golden who has been in shows such as Hair, Leader of the Pack, Ah, Wilderness!, On the Town, The Full Monty, and Felicia Finley from Forbidden Broadway, Aida and The Wedding Singer will join the cast of Seth Rudetsky's DISASTER on March 4.

DISASTER! DISASTER! is a 1970's disaster movie musical, written by Seth Rudetsky and Jack Plotnick, featuring favorite songs and disasters from the '70s intended to bring audience members back to that time. The show starts on a summer night in 1979. All the hottest New York City A-Listers are putting on their platform shoes and polyester disco shirts and heading to the grand opening of Manhattan's first floating casino and discotheque. Little do they know that their night of boogie fever, Farrah Fawcett-feathered-hair and Bella Abzug hats will turn into....DISASTER!

Ms. Golden and Ms. Finley joins a cast that includes Paul Castree (9 to 5), Drew Geraci (Chorus Line), Tom Riis Farrell (Dirty Blonde), Kathy Fitzgerald (Wicked), Lauren Kennedy (Spamalot), Anika Larsen (Xanadu), Carrie Manolakos (Wicked), Lacretta Nicole (This One Girl's Story), Clark Oliver (Radio City Xmas), Zak Resnick (Lucky Guy), Seth Rudetsky (The Ritz), Clif Thorn (Les Miz) with Sherz Aletaha, Saum Eskandani, Spring Groove, Jennifer Knox and Kevin Loreque. Creative team includes: Directed/Choreographed by Denis Jones (Barry Busby, Assistant), Music Direction by Steve Marzullo (Sonny Paladino, assistant), Costumes by Brian Hemesath, Sets by Colin McGurk, Stage Manager Tom Kosis.
