The Laguna Playhouse Executive and Artistic Directors, Karen Wood and Ann E. Wareham are delighted to present Davis Gaines (The Phantom of the Opera) and Vicki Lewis ("Newsradio") in I DO! I DO!, music and lyrics by Tom Jones, book by Harvey Schmidt and directed by Alan Souza. "We are overjoyed to have Davis and Vicki bring this musical love letter to our audiences this Summer," offers Wood. "This is the perfect show for our subscribers and audiences to fall in love all over again with The Playhouse, and to have Davis and Vicki on our stage starts our new "Season of Stars" off in spectacular fashion," adds Wareham.

I DO! I DO! will begin previews on Tuesday, July 9 and will open on Saturday, July 13 at 7:30pm and run through Sunday, August 11, 2013 at the Laguna Playhouse, 606 Laguna Canyon Road in Laguna Beach.

The charming story of Michael and Agnes and their 50 years of marriage takes place around a large four-poster bed and features the musical standard, "My Cup Runneth Over." The Playhouse stage will light up with this funny and heartwarming musical about the joy, struggles, humor and passion that is every marriage.

Vicki Lewis (Agnes) starred as Beth on the hit NBC series "Newsradio", and as Nora on "Three Sisters", (also for NBC.) She recently shot the mini series "Doll And Em" for SKY TV (London's HBO) starring Emily Mortimer ("Newsroom") and John Cusack. She currently stars as Dr. Sonya on "How I Met Your Mother". She has had recurring and guest starring roles on "Curb Your Enthusiasm", "The Middle" ,"Bones", "Dirt", "Grey's Anatomy" "Til Death", "Survivng Suburbia", "Sonny With A Chance"," Melissa and Joey", "Austin And Alley", See Dad Run","Caroline In The City", "Norm", "The Five Mrs. Buchananns", "Phenom", "Murphy Brown","Grace Under Fire", "Sienfeld" and "Home Improvement". Her Films include "The Ugly Truth", "Complete Works", "Den Brother" ,"Always a Bride", "Last Day Of Summer", "Californina Dreamin", "Godzilla", "Mousehunt", "Pushing Tin", "I'll Do Anything" , "The Huntress", "Bye Bye Birdie" and "Breakfast Of Champions"

She starred in the Broadway productions of "Chicago" and the Tony nominated "Damn Yankees", "An Evening With the Pops" at Carnegie Hall, and "Pal Joey"(opposite Patti LuPone and Peter Gallagher) for "Encores". She also performed "Chicago" in Las Vegas at the Mandalay Bay Hotel. She received the Ovation Award for her performance in the world premiere of Michael John Lachuisa's "Hotel C'est L'amoure" at The Blank Theatre in Los Angeles, and was nominated for an Ovation award for her performance in "How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying" for Reprise! She received a Carbonell Award for her portrayal of Dolly Levi in "Hello Dolly" at the Maltz Jupiter Theatre. Also for Reprise! - "I Love My Wife", "My One and Only", "City of Angels", and "Carol Burnett In Conversation". Vicki Starred in "Funny Girl", " Into The Woods", "Gypsy" and "Little Mermaid" for California Music Circus. Her debut album "East of Midnight" is available on ITunes .

Alan Souza (Director) is a freelance director based in NYC. In recent times he has also directed for New Jersey Repertory, Arkansas Repertory, Walnut Street Theatre, The New Theatre, Maltz Jupiter Theatre, Virginia Musical Theatre, Human Race Theatre Company, Texas Shakespeare Festival, and the John W. Engeman Theater at Northport. He was nominated for the 2008 Carbonell Award, has received multiple Edgerton Foundation Grants for new plays, and has rendered commissioned work for Stage Entertainment USA. Alan has directed benefit original performances on Broadway for the Actors Fund of America and the Christopher Reeve Foundation. He is in development with the play Scandal, by Emmy Award winner Treva Silverman and the new musical To Paint The Earth.

Performances will be Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays & Fridays at 7:30pm; Saturdays at 2pm and 7:30pm; Sundays at 2pm. There will be additional performances on Thursday, July 11 at 2pm; Sunday, July 14 at 7pm; Sunday, July 21 at 7pm; Thursday, July 25; August 1 & August 8 at 2pm.
