On Saturday, February 8, 2020, the Norwalk Symphony and New Paradigm Theatre bring you another memorable Broadway performance. The unique collaboration between these two organizations sources Broadway actors and singers joining with the orchestra to provide a memorable evening for lovers of musicals! NICE (Norwalk International Cultural Exchange) is our nonprofit partner who uses music and performance to overcome prejudice and racial division, as portrayed in the play and in our world today. The Maritime Aquarium at Norwalk will be playing Journey to the South Pacific in their IMAX theatre that day to create an entire family-fun day culminating in the evening performance. Join the Symphony, New Paradigm Theatre, and all our partners as we travel to the South Pacific to warm our hearts with musical favorites! There will be a pre-concert and intermission reception where you can mix with the cast. Maestro Jonathan Yates, Kristin Huffman from New Paradigm Theatre, and Stage Director Claire Kelly, from Shakespeare on the Sound, will present their Pre-Concert talk to those attending the reception. A separate ticket is needed for the reception and is also available when purchasing show tickets.
