Family Day: Hey, Bud - Mom's the Word! is a Mother's Day Weekend celebration at American Mural Project combining storytelling, art activities, and garden projects for families. Beardsley Children's Librarian Carol Parent leads a Story Time and Craft Activity at 11am, followed by mural scavenger hunts and kid-friendly tours. Featured art activities include a crepe flower-making station, a Georgia O'Keeffe-inspired tissue paper collage, and flower weaving, all designed as take-home gifts for the mothers and loved ones in attendees' lives. Families with teens can take advantage of the concurrent Teen Art Studio, making it a full day for children of all ages.
