Circle Mirror Transformation is a play by Annie Baker that explores human connection through a drama class at a community center in Shirley, Vermont. The story follows five strangers—Marty, the enthusiastic instructor; her husband James; Schultz, a recently divorced carpenter; Teresa, a former actress; and Lauren, a reserved high school student—as they participate in acting exercises that gradually reveal their vulnerabilities, desires, and personal struggles.
