A Midsummer Night's Dream is a fantastical Shakespearean comedy following four runaway lovers, a troupe of bungling actors, and a mischievous company of fairies whose paths collide in a magical woodland kingdom outside Athens. The production is directed by Sasha Brätt and features Vanessa Butler (Member, Actors' Equity Association) as Titania/Hippolyta, Jovan Davis as Theseus/Oberon, Zachary Russell as Bottom, and Eli Zirolli as Puck, among a large ensemble cast. Choreography is by Christine Simoes with original music composed by Kate Swanson. The production runs in repertory with Measure for Measure outdoors on the campus of the University of Saint Joseph in West Hartford.
