WCT Juniors Fall Kids Theatre Program Begins 9/25

Following the successful WCT Juniors Summer Theatre Camp, Westport Community Theatre is excited to launch the WCT Fall Kids Theatre Program beginning September 25, 2015! Classes will be held weekly, on Fridays, September 25 - December 18.

Our Fall Kids" Theatre Program is a unique, low pressure theatre class for ages 6 and above. We focus on theatre games, improv and scene work, with a performance for the parents at the conclusion of the term. We have a professional voice coach on staff and the students learn confidence, public speaking, and performance skills without realizing they are learning. We are conveniently located in the lower level of the Westport Town Hall in a full-time theatre. The 12-week session is $600.

The program will be headed up by Westport resident Cindy Hartog. Cindy has a Masters in Educational Theatre from NYU and is classically trained at The Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London and The Neighborhood Playhouse in NYC. She is a former intern at The Williamstown Theatre Festival, and taught drama to underprivileged NYC students through the Creative Arts Team. Cindy may be best known as a kids cooking teacher, having taught cooking to Connecticut kids for the last 10 years, but she returns to her original passion with the WCT Juniors Program.

Space is strictly limited since class size will remain small.
