Audiences who have loved or are just discovering such vocalists as Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, Tommy James and the Shondells, Carly Simon, Cat Stevens, Elton John and Jim Croce among others are in for a real musical treat when The Hit Men return to the stage at Bridgeport's Downtown Cabaret Theatre.

The Hit Men are scheduled for three performances ONLY on Friday, February 7 (2014) at 7:30pm; Saturday, February 8 at 5:30pm and Saturday, February 8 at 8:30pm.

The Downtown Cabaret Theatre is located at 263 Golden Hill Street in downtown Bridgeport, Connecticut.

This is one great show featuring six amazing performers who are superb musicians, superior vocalists, great arrangers and creative composers from some of the greatest mega-star acts from the 60s, 70s and 80s. Audiences will hear some of their favorite songs, ranging from "Oh What a Night," "Who Loves You," and "Sherry," to "Peace Train," "Crocodile Rock," "LeRoy Brown" and "Mony Mony" among others, performed the way they first heard them and it's almost guaranteed they will know every word in every song.

The brainchild of Lee Shapiro (Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons, Barry Manilow, Bob Gaudio, Paul Schaffer), The Hit Men also features Gerry Polci(Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons, Barry Manilow), Jimmy Ryan (The Critters, Carly Simon, Cat Stevens, Jim Croce, Elton John and Kiki Dee), Larry Gates(Desmond Child, Phoebe Snow, Carole King, Janis Ian, Rick Derringer) and Russ Velazquez (Sting, Carole King, The Ramones, LL Cool J, Luther Vandross, Korn, Paula Abdul, Chicago). It's an opportunity for the audience to get to know each of them individually on stage of the Downtown Cabaret Theatre.

In addition to great music, The Hit Men will also share great back-stories and anecdotes from their days in recording studios and on the concert circuit with Frankie, Tommy, Carly, Jim, Cat and Elton. It's a great look back through rock & roll history from the guys who lived and breathed the experience.

When The Hit Men take the stage, it's easy to see why their music has transcended generations. The notes are sharp, the vocals spot-on, the energy is high, and these guys are having the time of their lives sharing their musical legacy with audiences throughout the country! After decades behind the scenes, these great artists who were instrumental in the success of fabulous songs are stepping forward as The Hit Men.

The end result of all their shows: audiences loving the music and the memories, people dancing in their seats and in the aisles, numerous standing ovations, and long lines of ecstatic fans waiting to meet and greet each and every member of The Hit Men.
