Along with day trips to Stonehenge,Windsor Castle, Salisbury Cathedral, Anne Hathaway's cottage and Bath, students will immerse themselves in the history of theatre. Students will visit the reconstructed Globe Theatre and attend a workshop conducted by actors introducing them to both the plays of Shakespeare and the conditions in which Elizabethan actors worked. After a visit to Shakespeare's birthplace in Stratford-on-Avon, students will experience a performance by the world renowned Royal Shakespeare Company in London'sWest End and attend workshops presented by the Royal Shakespeare Company actors.

Their experience will come full circle when they attend two world class performances in London's famous West End........Billy Elliot and Legally Blonde, when once again, students will be invited to attend pre-show workshops with actors from the cast.

"As Northwest CT's premier resource for performing arts education, it is only fitting that we provide our students with the opportunity not only to study their craft within a classroom setting but also firsthand in the world's cultural hub of the arts,London. I am thrilled and honored to be leading our students on this exciting educational journey." Says Ms. Hinman.
