Stamford Center for the Arts (SCA) will be hosting an American Red Cross Blood Drive on Sunday, March 3 from 8:00am-1:00pm at the Palace Theatre at 61 Atlantic Street. For more information or to make an appointment to donate, please visit www.redcrossblood.org and click on the Make a Blood Donation Appointment box in the upper right hand corner of the page. Two pairs of tickets to Paddy Moloney & The Chieftains will be given away to two lucky presenting donors that day.

"Stamford Center for the Arts is very happy to be working with the American Red Cross again and helping to support their mission to provide lifesaving blood to patients in need," said SCA Executive Director Michael E. Moran, Jr. "We encourage eligible donors to join us and help support the community blood supply by donating blood with the American Red Cross at the Palace Theater on March 3rd."
Blood is needed every day for patients in need. In the U.S., every two seconds someone needs blood. That patient could be a mother in childbirth, a newborn baby, a trauma victim or a cancer patient. The Red Cross collects and processes about 40% of the nation's blood supply. The American Red Cross Blood Services Region must collect approximately 650 units of blood donations each day to meet the needs of patients in our area.

If you have questions about directions or parking, please visit SCA's website at www.SCAlive.org. To schedule an appointment to donate blood at The Palace on March 3, go to www.redcrossblood.org.
