Playhouse on Park Announces 6th-8th Grade Young Actor Training Classes
Take the stage at Playhouse on Park! This summer, pre-teens and teens, entering 6th-8th grade, can discover their inner performer in theatre classes to be offered.
Through a variety of storytelling games, monologue/scene and movement work, and improvisation exercises young actors will learn how to create characters using their voices and bodies and develop the basic skills needed to bring them to life for an audience.
Classes are to be led by Playhouse on Park Director of Education, Dawn Loveland, and run two-hours a day, every day for 2 weeks beginning July 1st. Classes are also available for students in grades K-5th. Class size is limited and advanced registration is required.
