Photo Flash: Sam Waterston Stars In Long Wharf Theatre's HAVE YOU SEEN US?
Long Wharf Theatre presents the world premiere of Have You Seen Us?, by Athol Fugard, directed by Gordon Edelstein, from Nov. 24-Dec. 20, 2009 on the Mainstage. Henry Parsons comes in to a mall diner for his usual-a turkey sandwich-and insulting banter with Adela, the Mexican-American waitress. The two creep toward a fragile understanding until Solly and Rachel, an eastern European Jewish couple, sit down to eat.
The couple's entrance forces Henry to a reckoning with the indelible remains of his past; and, for a moment, unites four lost souls. Curtain times are Tuesdays at 7 p.m., Wednesdays at 2 and 7 p.m., Thursdays and Fridays at 8pm, Saturdays at 3PM and 8PM, and Sundays at 2PM and 7PM. Tickets are $30-$70 with special discounts available.
222 Sargent Drive, New Haven. Info: (203) 787-4282. Website: www.longwharf.org.
