Photo Flash: First Look - TriArts Sharon Playhouse' SPAMALOT, Opening Tonight

By:

TriArts Sharon Playhouse, under the leadership of Alice Bemand Executive Director and John Simpkins Artistic Director, is pleased to announce the theater's 2013 Season Opener, the Tony Award-Winning MusicAl Monty Python's SPAMALOT, with performances June 26 through July 7. Check out a first look below!

The area premiere production of Monty Python's Spamalot is directed and choreographed by Jennifer Werner, the Associate Director of Broadway's The Book of Mormon. Eric Kang is music director.

Monty Python's Spamalot is an outrageous musical comedy lovingly ripped off from the 1975 film classic "Monty Python and the Holy Grail." With music and lyrics by the Grammy-Award winning team of Eric Idle and John Du Prez and book by Eric Idle, Spamalot tells the story of King Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table as they embark on their quest for the Holy Grail. Did we mention the bevy of beautiful show girls, flying cows, killer rabbits, taunting Frenchmen and show-stopping musical numbers?

Spamalot stars Broadway cast member Thomas Cannizzaro in the role of King Arthur. The company of 20 also features Bethany Fagan as Lady of the Lake, Jared Weiss as Sir Robin, Brandon Cordeiro as Sir Lancelot, Harrison Post as Patsy, Stephen Eckelmann as Sir Galahad, Mark Devey as Sir Bedevere, Kenny Francoeur Prince Herbert, along with Philip Colgan, Dan Coombs, Rosalee DeHuff, Garrett Hill, Kiley Hinkle,Jane Kivnick, Emily Neuberger, Jake Satterfield, George Slotin, Madeleine Sykes, Eric Brian Waters, and Kaylee Verble.
TriArts Sharon Playhouse is located at 49 Amenia Road (Route 343). Performances of Monty Python's Spamalot are Wednesday at 2pm, Thursday at 2pm and 7pm, Friday at 2pm, Saturday at 2pm and 8pm, and Sunday at 1pm and 5pm.
