Maritime Society Hosts Eileen Ivers Reception and Free Concert, 7/22

The New London Maritime Society is hosting a special, private reception at the Custom House for Irish fiddler Eileen Ivers & band on Thursday, July 22, 6 - 7 PM (just prior to her free concert on New London's Parade Plaza at 8 PM.

Fiddler Eileen Ivers will change the way you think about the violin. Hailed as one of the great innovators and pioneers in the Celtic and World Music genres, IVERS has established herself as the pre-eminent exponent of the Irish fiddle in the world today.

The Custom House Maritime Museum is open year-round - telling the stories of New London's waterfront! The Custom House Maritime Museum is always FREE for current members and children under age 18 (with adult). A $5 donation is asked for all others.
