Joe Matarese's talent for turning his real life struggles into comedy has secured him roles in some of today's most sought-after television and radio shows alike. Matarese will take over the Comix stage for three performances at 8 p.m. nightly from Thursday, May 16 to Saturday, May 18. His Friday night show will be an especially uproarious performance, as he welcomes fans to witness a "Nasty Show with Joe Matarese."

Tickets are on sale now and are $20 for general advance admission ($30 the day of), while VIP advance admission tickets are $40 ($50 the day of). A two-drink minimum applies to all tickets. The show is 21+ and is for mature audiences only.

Matarese's impressive list of credits includes Comedy Central's "Premium Blend," monthly appearances on E!'s "Chelsea Lately," his own half hour special for "Comedy Central Presents" on the small screen, and "The Howard Stern Show" and "Breuer Unleashed" on Sirius Satellite Radio. On Bravo's reality series "Better Half," he taught his wife to perform standup and she brought home the $20,000 prize.

Additionally, he has performed four times at the prestigious Montreal Comedy Festival, leading to two development deals with major television networks. Continuing to add to his acting resume, he had a guest starring role on IFC's "Zrock" and delivered a standout performance on Howard TV's "Show In The Hallway."

Matarese's autobiographical act pokes fun at his subtly dysfunctional Italian family, his own neuroses, life with a five year old and baby daughter, and his marriage to a psychologist (his perfect match). His hit podcast, "Fixing Joe," focuses on helping others as he helps himself. After 20 years of failed relationships, fixing himself is his main objective - he has to if he wants this relationship to work.
