Celebrate the "Chairman of the Board" on his actual birth date! On Saturday, December 12 at 8 p.m. The Ridgefield Playhouse and Ridgefield Magazine Broadway and Cabaret Series celebrate the 100th Birthday of Ol' Blue Eyes, Frank Sinatra with "Echoes of Sinatra" featuring Steve Kazlauskas. The show is an exciting and entertaining production kicks off with a Jack Daniels toast celebrating the life of an American icon. The Playhouse will be filled with the sounds of Sinatra's songs and his favorite cocktails - Martinis, Dry Manhattans and Rob Roys - will be available at the bar! The music, the man and the songs such as "Come Fly with Me," "Witchcraft," "I've Got You Under My Skin," "Strangers in the Night," "It Was a Very Good Year," "That's Life," "Summer Wind," "The Lady is A Tramp" and "New York, New York" will be performed in Sinatra's iconic style in a feel-good evening of contemporary pop and jazzy swing music.

"Echoes of Sinatra" includes insider stories and famous music from Sinatra while tracing his life and career through classic songs that are now considered part of the Great American Songbook. Kazlauskas was inspired to become a singer by corresponding directly with Sinatra by mail. He has performed throughout the country, capturing the sound, feel and expression of Sinatra while bringing his own interpretation to the music. With a vocal range that allows him to sing Frank's songs in their original keys, Kazlauskas is able to reach and sustain those high notes and croon softly on those signature low notes. Joining Kazlauskas on stage is the Tony T Sextet. Tony Traina has been performing across the United States since the late 1970s. He has played on "Saturday Night Live," "The Late Show with David Letterman" and Broadway as well as studio session work. This celebration is partially underwritten by Adam Broderick Salon and Spa, Jack Daniels and Nutmeg Livery
