It is a story about longing to belong, about the fear of feeling invisible, and about the complicated, messy, and deeply human ways we search for connection. Yet even in its most heartbreaking moments, this show is filled with hope. It reminds us that no one is truly alone and that even the smallest gesture of kindness, compassion, or understanding can have a profound impact on someone else’s life. I am proud to be closing out our eighth season here at A.C.T. of CT with such a powerful and deeply moving piece of theater.”

Dear Evan Hansen has a book by Steven Levenson and music and lyrics by Benj Pasek and Justin Paul. The A.C.T. of CT production will be directed by Scott Schwartz, with choreograpy by Marcos Santana, and with music direction by Cole P. Abod.
