Actors' Theatre of Columbus will close its 2012 summer season at the Columbus Commons with the production of Shakespeare's A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM. The production will run Thu/Fri/Sat/Sun for two weekends, September 13-16 and September 20-23, with performances starting at 7:30 PM. Performances are free, though donations of $5-10 are encouraged.

Actors' Theatre has added life-sized puppets to the mix, making the performance suitable for all age groups. "It is very accessible when performed in this manner, and particularly for children. In fact, it is a great way for audiences of all ages to learn to enjoy classical theatre," says John S. Kuhn, who is Actors' Artistic Director and who is directing the play.

The nine-acre park is located in the heart of Downtown at 160 South High Street. It encompasses the site of the former City Center and is across the street from the Lazarus Building. Parking is available adjacent to the park. Wine and beer are available for purchase, but cannot be brought into the park. Food is available on site, as are public restrooms.
