convergence-continuum continues its 2015 Season with Edward Albee's THE ZOO STORY, for one weekend only, running Thursday, July 30 through August 1. The modern American classic is performed by Tom Kondilas and Clyde Simon and directed by Robert Hawkes as part of con-con's "Tweener" performances running between the regular Season shows.

THE ZOO STORY, set at a park bench on a Sunday afternoon, relates with ironic humor and unrelenting dramatic suspense, an extraordinary encounter between Peter, a middle-class
publishing executive, and Jerry, a permanent transient. Jerry intrudes on Peter's peaceful afternoon by interrogating him and compelling him to listen to stories about his life, and the troubling reason behind his visit to the zoo.

THE ZOO STORY runs Thu-Sat, July 31-Aug 1, at 8 pm at the Liminis, 2438 Scranton Rd, Cleveland 44113 in the historic Tremont neighborhood. Tickets are $15 general admission, $12 seniors (65+), $10 students. Reservations at convergence-continuum.org or 216-687-0074.
