PlayhouseSquare Announces Young Professionals Night During Cinema At The Square 8/20
Northeast Ohio's young professionals are invited to enjoy an evening of socializing and entertainment during PlayhouseSquare's 12th annual "Cinema at the Square" series on Thursday, August 20. The pre-movie party begins at 5:30 p.m. and the film, Ghostbusters, follows at 7:30 p.m. Admission is free but tickets are required. Tickets are available online at playhousesquare.org/partners.
The event is hosted by PlayhouseSquare Partners, the young professionals group at PlayhouseSquare. "We offer unique opportunities to network, volunteer and socialize in one of the most beautiful and historic locations in downtown Cleveland," explained Molly Franz, Partners Membership Coordinator. "This Cinema at the Square event will give young professionals the chance to find out how they can enjoy all that PlayhouseSquare has to offer."
Before the movie, guests will enjoy a Ghostbusters-themed party with movie theater snacks, cocktails and opportunities for networking. At the event, The PlayhouseSquare Partners will unveil the theme for the 19th annual Jump Back Ball scheduled for Saturday, February 27, 2010.

The Cinema at the Square series runs August 6-23 at PlayhouseSquare. This years series showcases fifteen classic films from the Golden Age of Hollywood to the special-effects laced blockbusters of the 1980s; all for a very "retro" price of just $5 per film.
All films are screened on the Palace Theatre's 20' high x 47' wide Super Hurley-Glo projection screen which is the largest non-Imax screen in Ohio. To further enhance the experience, all films are preceded by the sounds of the mighty Kimball organ, a variety of short films and classic cartoons.
