By: Gabrielle Sierra
The June 12th concert scheduled at PlayhouseSquare with headliner singer/songwriter DION and special guests, Sixties singers Shirley Alston-Reeves (lead singer of The Shirelles), The Flamingos and The Soul Stirrers has been cancelled because of travel problems. The promoter of the event is making plans for a return concert in the fall starring a Hall of Famer line-up of 1960's artists.
Meanwhile, ticket refunds are being carried out for all Window, Phone, and Web sales. Credit card refunds will automatically appear within 7-10 days after the date of cancellation. Patrons who purchased tickets with cash will be issued a check within 2 weeks after the refund has been processed.
