Personals Uncut: The New York Edition is an edgy contemporary comedy poised to escort theatergoers on a laugh-filled trip through the uncensored world of cyber-dating. Penned and directed by native Clevelander Jennifer Griffin, Personals Uncut makes its debut at Kennedy's Cabaret in PlayhouseSquare for performances at 7 & 10 pm August 14th & 21st.

(Tickets are $15, on sale as of July 23rd at The PlayhouseSquare Ticket Office, 216-241-6000 or playhousesquare.org.)

Personals Uncut features a cast of 18 who are looking for love (well, mostly). They comically portray assorted characters via a series of monologues in two acts, exploring how singles "sell themselves" in the world of online dating. See it for laughs...see it for tips...or see what you've been missing!

About The Author:
Jennifer Griffin, a 2003 Mentor High School grad, ventured to the Big Apple to study at The American Musical and Dramatic Academy. Following graduation, she worked odd jobs around NYC " to support her acting habit." The characters she encountered through those odd jobs became the fodder and inspiration to jump-start her creativity and help rediscover her love of writing. Not unlike Carrie Bradshaw of Sex & the City, Jennifer began writing Personals Uncut in 2006 from her NYC apartment. She is thrilled to be directing and producing her very first play in her hometown, adding, "I've also been blessed to have found such a talented cast to make Personals Uncut come alive for this Cleveland debut!
