Capezio Flagship Full Time Theatrical Coordinator - Capezio

The Theatrical Division at the Capezio Flagship Store provides customer services to professional companies including Broadway, TV, Film, Professional Dance Companies, Professional Ballet Companies, National Tours, Regional Theatres and Celebrities. The division assists designers, choreographers, dancers, actors, company managers and directors with custom shoe fittings as well as provides professional customers with services in dance body wear and accessories.



MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

- Under general supervision from the Store Manager, with latitude for independent initiative and judgment perform responsible work for the Theatricals Division of the Capezio Flagship Store.

- Coordinate with Store Manager and the Full Time Theatricals Coordinator to streamline and organize all procedures within office, including creating purchase orders, receiving stock and custom orders into inventory, creating reports and maintaining a complex filing system both physically and electronically.

- Provide and improve customer service in the division by answering phones, responding to voice messages, emails, fax messages, mail and parcels. Assist walk-in customers both in the division and on the sales floor.

- Maintain shipping records and accurately ship items to customers using UPS and FedEx programs.



QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRMENTS

- Full time work hours – Monday – Friday 10am-7pm.

- Knowledgeable background in theatre and arts, including contact names and connections.

- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Access.

- Ability to quickly learn programming for creating purchase orders, receiving stock, ringing up sales, and shipping merchandise to customers both nationally and internationally using FedEx and UPS.



PREFERRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS

- Retail experience preferred.

- Experience in stock maintenance.

- Ability to lift boxes, ladders and manipulate hand-trucks.

- Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
