PRODUCTION MANAGER - PICT Classic Theatre

PICT Classic Theatre, an internationally recognized theater in Pittsburgh, PA, is seeking a full-time Production Manager for their 2019-2020 season of THE WOMAN IN BLACK, A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM, and DA.Employment will be seasonal, full time between September 17, 2019-May 31, 2020. A seasonal salary is offered for this position, paid biweekly. DUTIES AND REQUIREMENTSProduction Scheduling: Coordinating with our venue, WQED Multimedia, on all aspects of production, and acting as liaison between PICT and all production vendors during the 2019-2020 season. Maintaining and communicating production schedule to all parties. Crew Development: Hire overhire, painters, electricians, laborers and board operators for the 2019-2020 season.Production Supervision: Assist Artistic & Executive Director with the hiring, coordination, and scheduling of season designers. Coordinate with the AEA Stage Manager on all aspects of production during the rehearsal and performance period. Coordinate with Technical Director to schedule and execute show load in and load out, including but not limited to the transport, install, and storage of our theater risers and seating.
