Page 73 Productions (www.page73.org), a non-profit theater company dedicated to developing and producing the works of early-career playwrights, seeks part-time Management/Administrative interns to support all of our initiatives. This internship is offered to one person in the Summer (June 1 through August 31) and to one person in the Season (September 1 through June 30). Start and end dates can be flexible based on school schedules.

Page 73 seeks an intern who will work closely with and provide support for Page 73’s core leadership staff; organize and perform office management tasks; and help maintain organizational systems for Page 73’s office. Responsibilities will include database use, event support, research, and general administrative duties. The intern will also support Page 73’s full range of artistic programming.

During the period of the Summer internship, Page 73 will be preparing for and hosting our annual Summer Residency; working with our 2018 and 2019 P73 Playwriting Fellows and our 2018 and 2019 Interstate 73 writers groups; presenting several one-day and 29-hour readings of plays by playwrights in our community; coordinating donor appeals; and hosting several special events.

During the period of the Season internship, Page 73 will be producing two world premiere productions; working with our 2018 and 2019 P73 Playwriting Fellows and our 2018 and 2019 Interstate 73 writers groups; presenting several one-day and 29-hour readings of plays by playwrights in our community; and hosting our annual spring benefit fundraiser and several other special events.

Candidates must be self-starters who are able to work independently on a variety of projects. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Gmail/Google Drive required. Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, Mailchimp (or similar marketing email platform), and OvationTix (or other similar ticketing platform) a plus.

Hours are flexible but candidates must be available for 20 hours over the course of each week during business hours, which are generally 10am – 6pm, Monday through Friday. Ideally the intern would be available from time to time to assist with nighttime events. Page 73’s office is located at 80 Hanson Place in Fort Greene, Brooklyn, near the Atlantic Terminal and BAM. A $50 weekly stipend for expenses will be provided, and course credit can also be arranged if desired. Applicants should be currently enrolled students or recent (May 2018) graduates.

This is an excellent opportunity for a student or recent graduate with an interest in learning about new play development and production as well as all aspects of running a non-profit theatre company. Page 73 is committed to developing new talent for the theatre and looks forward to creating opportunities for this new member of our team to grow as a theatre professional.
