Seeking kids and adults to portray New York Italian-Americans for 1940's family-friendly musical!

CHARACTERS

Elizabetta: (Age 30's)-Aspiring vocalist: smart but sensitive, follows her heart. However, has a natural ability to help others.



Andy: (Age 30's) -Pianist. Kind, funny, wants to make others happy.



Zia: (Age 50's)-Elizabetta’s Aunt. Burnt out from life, but hopeful for Elizabetta.



Zio: (Age 50's)-Elizabetta’s Uncle. Strong-willed, hard worker with a temper.



Angelo: (Age 50's)-Gelato Vendor. Very Italian, very proud, boastful.



Maximo: (Age 30's)-Angelo’s son. Show off, dumb, always looking for action.



Rhonda: (Age 30's)- Gelato Girl: Young, fun, full of spunk.



Judy (Age 30's) Gelato Girl: Sarcastic, daredevil, honest.



Mother Marie: (Age 50's)- Head Nun. Strict, humorous, and very religious.



Father Burns: (Age 50's)-An aloof Priest who has other motives.



Marcello: (Age 30's)- Italian, Navy sailor. Very romantic, handsome, a swooner, but all talk.



Dominic: (Age 8 to 16)-Male student. Rebellious, wise guy.



Peter: (Age 8 to 16).-Male student. Complainer, needy.



Frances: (Age 8 to 16)-Female student. Grumpy, not motivated.



Catherine: (Age 8 to 16).-Female student. Fresh, rude.
