Second Stage Theater seeks a General Manager to oversee the daily administrative operations of one of LORT and Broadway's premiere not-for-profit theater companies in a time of exciting expansion. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: management/negotiation of artists' contracts, union relations, space rental, and lease negotiation, as well as oversight of production department, company management and all front of house activities including box office/ticket services. A key member of the senior staff, the General Manager will also work closely with the Executive Director on the operation of the Hayes Theater on Broadway as well as two Off-Broadway performance spaces. The ideal candidate will have excellent negotiating as well as written/verbal communication and budgeting skills, a sharp eye for detail, exceptional organizational skills and the ability to coordinate multiple projects at once.
