The Covedale To Present SINGIN' IN THE RAIN 3/25-4/11

By:

Covedale Center for the Performing Arts presents the season closer, Singin' In The Rain, based on the MGM Film. Screenplay by: Betty Comden and Adolph Green, songs by: Nacio Herb Brown and Arthur Freed

Performances run March 25 - April 11, 2010

You remember the plot. You love the characters. You know "the song." Based on the MGM film (1952), 1920s Hollywood is the setting for this zany, light-hearted romantic comedy about the early days of sound film, when many a movie studio found itself scrambling to salvage the career of its chipmunk-voiced silent picture star. Great songs like "Good Morning", "Make ‘Em Laugh", "All I Do Is Dream of You" and the title song, "Singin' In The Rain" fill the show!

Cast Includes: Matt Dentino (Don Lockwood), Dan Doerger (CosMo Brown), Pamela Day (Kathy Seldon), Mindy Heithaus (Lina Lamont), Dave Radtke (R.F. Simpson), John Langley (Roscoe Dexter), Joel Lind (Rod) Emily Carroll (Miss Bailey), Kate Glasheen (Zelda Zanders) and the rest of the Ensemble includes: Maggie Perrino, Pam Blessing, Lisa DeRoberts, Amy Dimmerling, Lerin Wessner, Taylor Reynolds, Jon Kovach, Ray Smith, Gary Rogers, Will Selnick, Brian Wylie, Paul Longshore, Brody McKinnon and Michael Van Schoik
