Women and Expectations by Mamzelle Amandine & Julie Morel at Private Home in Logan Square

Coming from the triumph of “Cabaret Creatures” in Milwaukee, Amandine and Julie bring us a new duo show exploring Women and Expectations, with accordionist Wilfried Touati. Join us in the intimate environs of Sonia’s Salon in Logan Square* to get in touch with two vibrant women of Lyon, France. It’s a show written in English, FOR Chicago!

Two French women, one American dream… and two very different ways of chasing it ! One is a hopeless romantic, the other a shameless opportunist. Together, they’re ready to take on America… and perhaps turn a few conventions upside down.

Through songs, comedy, and a touch of France extravagance, Women… and expectations explores the roles women are expected to play, the rules we are supposed to follow, and the freedom to write our own story.

*The private home address in Logan Square is shared several days prior to the event to ticket purchasers
