A Theater for the Very Young production for ages 0-5, co-directed by Jamal Howard and Raquel Torre, featuring Sonya Madrigal, Otto Anzures Dadda, Osiris "Pinky" Cuen, Lucía Mier y Terán Romero and Andrew Sepulveda. When El Sol mysteriously vanishes from the sky, a brave Lizard embarks on a quest to find and bring back the light. The show is an enchanting retelling of a beloved Mexican folktale featuring interactive storytelling and Mexican-inspired music and dance, presented primarily in Spanish but designed for both Spanish and non-Spanish speakers. Performances are presented free as part of the Chicago Park District's Night Out in the Parks series at various parks and public libraries.
