"Welcome To The Renaissance!" Don't miss out on Encore's hilarious, self-referential summer production of Something Rotten!
Set in the 1590s, brothers Nick and Nigel Bottom are desperate to write a hit play but are stuck in the shadow of the Renaissance's most famous rock star, Shakespeare. When a local soothsayer foretells that the future of theatre involves singing, dancing and acting at the same time, Nick and Nigel set out to write the world’s very first musical.
Performances: Friday, July 19 at 7:30pm Saturday, July 20 at 2pm & 7:30pm Sunday, July 21 at 1pm
Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for students, and can be purchased at ovationacademy.org/shows-ticketsThis production is performed by high school students grades 9-12. The runtime is approximately 90 minutes with one 10 minute intermission.
